MAKING MOMENTS MATTER

Royal Family KIDS Camp is a free overnight summer camp specifically designed to serve children between the ages of 7-11 years who have experienced relational trauma. Children will have opportunities to swim, explore, participate in music, crafts and plenty of games!

Our goal is for every child to make positive, lasting memories as they experience a week of just being a kid.

  • "The girls told us so many awesome stories about the activities they tried, what they learned, the new friends they made and all the fun interactions they had with Aunties, Uncles and Cousins. We know they felt seen and loved all week. I really think that it was a week that they will never forget."

  • “I’ve had experience working with lots of kids before, but this camp was so different because it was about creating a space where people come together to create a family environment filled with safety and love.”

    - Laurel, Camp Cousin

  • “When my boys are struggling and need space, I will usually find them in their rooms reading their letters from camp. They are so positive and affirming."

    - Foster mom

  • “Look! Look at my scrapbook! I didn’t have any photos of me smiling before and now I have an ENTIRE BOOK FULL!”

    - Camper, Age 11

  • “The transformation was almost unbelievable. Even one week has the potential to move a child’s heart toward healing.”

    - Sara, Camp Cousin

  • “We were a little bit worried about our daughter getting on the bus the first day because she tends to get nervous doing new things. But y'all have it down pat so she began to feel safe even during the check-in process."

    - Foster mom

  • “My boys bring out their photo books throughout the year and spend a lot of time going through them and talking about what they did and how much fun they had. Thank you for what you do. You really are changing lives.”

    - Foster mom

  • "Thank you so much for all the intentionality. Our foster son has a particularly hard time with recalling events, processing emotions, and communicating things he likes/doesn’t like. Having the photo albums and notes to share about what happened when he was gone was amazing!!!”
